is like a campaign in many ways, or at least a good hint at how you might want to structure one as a .

Individual characters with different strengths and weaknesses, all pushed together by chance and looking to fulfill their own goals, some of which align.

Episodes sometimes put one character in the spotlight with their backstory and resolve some stuff about them. Then the next character and so on and so forth.

@Imperor I agree 100%, though I would say it's a GURPS game, not a D&D 5E game. So much more depth.

@Imperor Even in D&D 2nd and 3rd editions there was a lot more room to customize and really make choices. GURPS is great because it is designed to allow you to apply TTRPG rules to anything, fantasy or sci-fi or horror or whatever. 5E isn't bad, it's designed like a video game on paper. It's simplified so that the rules are easy to pick up and understand. I personally like the nuance of more complex systems. GURPS, World of Darkness, Exalted, Rifts, there's so many ways to play.

I do a lot of #CreativeWriting and #WolrdBuilding for game #rpg and I usually post it under #MoltenAether since that's the name of my site.

Well, I have to do a new #introduction, I had a Mastodon server myself over at my domain moltenaether.com, but I typed a command wrong and the entire server ate itself.

I am a certified #math #teacher in the state of #Kentucky. I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2021 after a very long time going to school and changing majors. I am into #ttrpg #programming and general computer geekery (#geek) and nerdiness (#nerd). I will post my creations for my #ffrp game as I make them.
