I went back and forth on doing this, but I'm going to bite the bullet and participate in #FediBookFair

I am a #trans, queer fiction writer, who mostly leans towards writing #sapphic fiction, but in 2019 I released my first book that features a transmasculine main character. For genres, I tend to write in whatever catches my fancy, but I prefer writing dark romance with morally grey characters because who doesn't love a good morally grey character?

My most popular book is actually my supernatural book "Avery Lawson: The Last Pureblood." It's the first book in my Last Pureblood series. However, I am partial to "Pool of Lies" just because of what wild it is.

I haven't published in a while, but I'm working to change that for 2024.

I just got an email from BookBrush this morning, and it contained a survey about interest in creating AI narrated #audiobooks with them if I would paid a one-time fee of $999 USD to join that service. Of course my first thought was what about the #narrators? What about quality? And a number of other things. I did some research and I’m even more concerned, and of course, the email was sparse in details. While it’s tempting as a #SelfPublished author, I still care about the people it effects. The narrators and the authors. Am I being too paranoid about this or is the appropriate reaction? Who wants to discuss? #WritersofMastodon #SelfPublishing

Since it has been a minute, let's get this going around again.

I've created a #Discord server for #QueerWriters who are looking for a little support in their #writing journey. Created with fiction writers (including fanfic writers) over 21 in mind, this server is for those who need motivation, bulldozing through their writer's block, looking for steady kicks in the ass to get through editing, or whatever else that's preventing you from completing your WIP or hindering your progress.

Its invite only bc I don't want it to be a big server, and anyone under 18 will be considered on a case-by-case basis. So DM me for an invite. While this should be obvious, but some people are obtuse, this is a trans-friendly server.
