I think probably most of us have encountered cancer in some form. Both my parents and both my sisters have had cancer. One of my sisters died from it while still a teenager, and my father is living with brain cancer.
I would love to see a genuine cure for cancer and believe we are closer than we have ever been.

@ngmi@elk That's probably something that needs to be enabled on Skybridge. Elk does subscribe to a stream from #mastodon servers, and I think we do plan to enable auto-updates - it's just about figuring out the best DX. (We don't want to auto-load new items if that would be disorientating.)
@daniel It seems that in @elk I can't really tap and zoom into images and view them in fullscreen like I can in a native mobile apps.
Are you planning to implement this? If so, is there an issue on GitHub I could track?
This is pretty much my only "complain" about the otherwise very perfect @elk app.
