I don’t know if it’s just my memory playing tricks on me, but #dotnet looks more noisy every time I look at it.

It's harder to visually parse the flow of a codebase.

@khalidabuhakmeh any particular type of code, or just in general? I've been using version 8 to build some tools at work, and the C# top level namespaces, usings that don't require scope, etc. seemed to help somewhat.

@khalidabuhakmeh I try to become passably familiar with a different language every so often. It's not terribly structured, and I think Rust took me 5 times before I understood its ownership model. :) This is how I found F#, my go-to language for nearly a decade at this point. My day job is sometimes the motivation, and how I found and learned Kotlin (F# for the JVM? Awesome!).

Currently on deck - Elixir, and a new app for a friend using modern vanilla PHP.
