Upper 30’s #BTSARMY. She/her. Enjoys family time, #Kdramas, #kpop, #cats, cooking, travel, studying Korean, and keeping up with BTS! Rediscovered my love of music and fan girling! I also have a passion for inclusive experiences/universal design/ #aac ! Devout #Caturday contributor.
Hadn't been aware of #ATEEZ prior to this, but when my little KPop store announced a promotion, I went on down, and was glad to see the shop was pretty darned crowded. (Rents here are not cheap.)
Anyways, I picked up the new mini album, and it's banger after banger. Plus, that one dude who showed up to Music Bank in a pink hat!! I need to check their back catalog. (And learn their names, of course.) 💜
@tikistitch We will see. Tickets are not purchased yet. But I have high hopes. I thought their Coachella show as something else. I don't know their names yet, but I am curious :)
I got achey for some unknown today. Like what would it be like to settle on a coastal town in Korea (thanks Kdramas) or further up the Atlantic coast or an island somewhere warm or near a sister or a friend or near a new friend. I left my home town to kind of make a new home town. I didn't know I needed deep roots, but also freedom to be me. But today felt a bit achey for the world. Travel is definitely on my list to see and experience places. But I have to go at my pace and balance priorities.
I think it was the rain and that life has been a bit extra...nothing I can't take care of...just extra. I decided to give into the mood and write some memories of my job that I'm leaving in about 3 weeks. Change is good. Life is good.
@GQB Good insights!! I think the nature part is definitely grounding! I took a morning walk and marveled at all the life surround our man-made pond. It is nice to know nature has a way of coming back!
I took a walk this morning and managed half a kilometer, but slipped on a rock, tore my jeans and possibly sprained or fractured my right wrist. Going to the hospital in a while, to see the doctor and get an x-ray.
I went to Lotte and Trader Joe’s in an attempt to find frozen gimbap. I was told it is also at Costco, but I ran out of shopping time. I overheard a lady say. 김밥 없어. (There is no gimbap) at Trader’s Joe. So I was not alone in my search
@GQB my friend’s son only liked the Costco one. He wasn’t as much of a fan of the Trader Joe’s. I saw a colleague eating the Lotte gimbap and said it was good. But I saw no sign of it.
#arMay My first bias was Taehyung! I was drawn by the interesting tone in his baritone voice. Who is singing that? Then his eyebrow work in Permission to Dance caught my eye.
#arMay Day 3
My current bias is Jimin but wrecked regularly by OT7. I watched PTD Las Vegas streaming, and the way Jimin flirts on stage plus his soaring vocals put him in a special place in my heart. Maybe he also reminded me of friends I had in choir and drama club. This was all before I knew his character and his love for the members and Army.
Jhope has a special spot as a bias wrecker. I must have a thing for dancers and pure love.
When you don't want to work but you have to work but you really don't want to work but there is work to be done, yet you really really don't want to actually do any work that needs to be done.
Suga goes to Nonsan Training Center for military basic training for 3 weeks, as reported by Dispatch Korea. It is said Jin went to see him off. /1 of 3 #BTS#Suga#Yoongi
@pixiecata I was wondering when he’d go. I think I’m the last to know he was doing social work. I work with a lot of case managers in my day job. I miss him. I hate they have to go, but still what an incredible experience to step away from the stage and experience real life in a way that would be difficult for them with their fame. Not that military is real life.
