One thing I am not going to miss when I eventually move out from this Docklands apartment are the drums from the dragon boats in the marina. Speaking of moving out though, I am watching the latest video on that Site Inspections youtube channel which somebody mentioned and hoooooooooly shiiiiiiiiiiit it is rage inducing! It seems no matter where you turn or what you try to do, everybody is an amoral criminal out to fuck you over in this world. In another amazing segue, I’m going to see Mission Impossible in a couple of hours which should be fun.
Good lord that sounds incredible. Although my aging body has decided that heartburn/indigestion is the answer to meatballs the last few times I’ve had them but sometimes you just have to put your body on the line for the greater good.

On the Android front, I’m now using Connect and it is fairly excellent. I don’t think any droid apps can handle the spoiler formatting yet including this one but apart from that it’ll do nicely until we see what Boost for Lemmy ends up being like.
Pretty good, thanks for asking! They’re more comfortable than the temporary ones I had in and actually feel like real teeth. So happy air can pass between them unlike the temps. The only weird thing is that it feels ‘crowded’ in my mouth because I have 2 more teeth than I’ve had my whole life.
I’m still not used to seeing them in the mirror though. I am curious if they look big and fake to other people. The teeth themselves look great and natural but just in my face it looks odd to me.
Just e-scooted with my backpack to the supermarket like the true city-dweller I am and spotted Aeroplane Jelly flavoured milks. They have raspberry jelly, mango jelly and lemon jelly flavoured milk. These companies know I can’t not try their wacky brand mashups so I got a lemon jelly milk. Just so there’s no confusion, it’s not jelly-like at all, just flavoured milk. It’s actually not bad too! Also stopped by the pharmacy to load up on pain meds because the anaesthetic from my dental work is starting to wear off and it is **not ** pleasant.
I think I actually heard/felt this! I was awake watching Netflix and heard my apartment building do a little creak in the walls/ceiling like I heard when the last quake hit. It was just a really quick one and I wasn’t sure if I felt it or imagined it but the timing lines up!
I did a little bit of driving on my last trip over there in 2012, mostly over on the east coast too. Buffalo up to Niagara Falls, Toronto then down to Manhattan. I did a bit more driving down in Florida too. This will be for sure a more scenic road trip though! All of my US trips in the past have been focused on the cities and/or amusement park locations but this time I’m hitting a buuunnch of national parks. Then cap it off with some downtime in Vegas to just chill out, eat edibles, go to the movies, whatever. So pumped.
From one of the apartments to my left. Not sure which one. There are partition things with cat-sized gaps it can squeeze through so it can explore other peoples balconies.
Ok great now I want freshly baked lemon cake and I’ve decided I’m going to make one tomorrow to take to family dinner. Are they terribly difficult to make properly for someone who has only ever made packet mix cakes?
