While working on the Mega IIe, I saw this "glitch" on the Apple II PH0 clock. Here's what it is, how to measure it, and why it happens.

I've decorated three denim jackets with LEDs to bring as an installation for the CETI institute in the #portlandwinterlightfestival . The CETI installations will be displayed in an abandoned GAP storefront, so this project feels particularly appropriate. Just got the basic animation working for the rain cloud jacket, and hope to find time to enhance it.

baldengineer,

@geekmomprojects Left and Right could be side-based Hi-Five counters.

If you're hosting a reoccurring event, please set up an email list for future events!

I always find out about small meetups two weeks after the date. And so few have a way to get notified about the next one.

And no, having a Facebook group doesn't count. eyeroll

I have a friend who would like to transfer some memories off of MiniDV tapes. Does anyone have a deck/camcorder I could borrow or be willing to transfer the tapes?

Doing end-of-year photo album clean-up. I came across this picture in a forgotten 2015 folder.

At one point, this was my entire retro-computing collection.

Dr. Prutchi shows how armatures can participate pin deep space exploration by receiving signals from spacecraft. (and compares it to watching blades of grass grow, lol.) #hackadaysupercon

Oh yeah. THIS GUY talked about some weird Apple II project at #hackadaysupercon.

Nathan Jones is expertly explaining how last year’s #hackadaysupercon badge, the Voja4, is more than just a blinky toy—its a full computer.

baldengineer,

@freemo Beause it is aweasome! (I saw one, but do not have one... yet) Nathan said there are 100 (or so) on order, so they should be available for sale soon:
