It occurred to my today that I have been coding for 40 years, starting with ZX Spectrum BASIC and currently enjoying and . I still love , it still excites me and I am always learning. I can't image a time when I don't code.

@popey @james I made mine sit through a selection of 'classic' 80s ads on YouTube! They might still think I'm going bananas, but at least they understand why I hope it's chips, why for mash get SMASH and it's gotta be Smith's Crisps.

#flutter development has been so enjoyable. I can't put my finger on what makes me like it so much. However, it's beating #react native for me right now. (And I'm a fulltime React developer).

@mikey I think a lot of it is how productive you can be with Flutter & Dart. It makes it fun as you can just get on and build what you want.

The daughter is in rented accommodation. Her room is at the top of the house. WiFi access point (Sky ER115) is far away so she has poor reception. Needs WiFi extended. Can't replace the access point. Thinking of two Ethernet over Power plus a WiFi access point? Does anyone have good suggestions?

@popey As a few others have mentioned, powerline adapters with wifi are a good solution. I use a couple of TPlink ones. Gives me both ethernet ports & WiFi: https://www.tp-link.com/uk/home-networking/powerline/tl-wpa8631p-kit/
