NEW RULE: if a service is emailing you about a pricing 'change' (it's always an increase), they should include details of the change in the fucking email they send you. Why do I have to find my login just to understand how hard you're about to screw me?

@girlonthenet I got one of these e-mails from my energy company. Logged into the app. They’re reducing my direct debit by £30 a month! I’m fairly certain this must be a trick of some kind and they’re going to send me another message in six months saying I owe them £699 or something.

A few months ago, a new friend of mine took my face in her hands and said, in her beautiful Dublin accent

I’m writing a piece about us now. How she’s stirred up my life in all the good ways. That moment’s going in.
