@melmc It's a little surprising that such a great governor was such a bad campaigner. There is an observation in corporations that people tend to "advance to the level of their incompetence." i.e. they get promoted until they start failing at their current responsibilities --, which is not good for the company. I hope DeSantis stays a governor for a long time,

I never thought they were. Even Trump in the White House can't save this country. That's why things have gone on so long -- until the citizens stop acting like babies in their playpens and stand up for their rights. (Not with violence, but with voice, votes and money.) Mostly voices, because politicians are afraid of the public.)

Even now, it is hard to get any medical appointment for anything without being hounded for one’s vaccine status. No one is even allowed to apply for citizenship or attend many schools without getting the shot that we know for sure does not work and is unusually dangerous.

A guy whose videos I watch on YouTube said his wife needed minor surgery. After a long time of several appointments and driving a long distance from their rural home in British Columbia to the hospital only to be then told that the surgery was canceled, she finally got in. Then the hospital didn't even give her pain meds or a prescription when they sent her right back home. She's been suffering for almost two weeks. Finally recovering.

The seemingly inevitable cratering of the dollar, combined with the apparent certainty of massive election rigging, suggests to me that Trump, et al, have a radical plan to deal with both. I see no way to enduring prosperity absent a nearly simultaneous solution to both problems.
