@julijane When I camped at The Grand Canyon about 20 years ago they had showers like that. It was - very inconvenient.

I feel I can never get on board with TVs in restaurants. From where I'm sitting I can see 10 different televisions, I don't see the appeal. It's distracting and annoying.

@SoniEx2 Do you mean for IPv6 allocations from your RIR (regional registry)? If so, for Europe (RIPE) then no, an IPv6 allocation is free. (As part of your normal membership).

@MichaelLondonSF To be fair your experience is normal. WiFi stuff is often annoying like this and "app based" administration doesn't expose the information you need to correctly identify what the problems are.

Only just found "correlationID" is meant to be maintained for the whole message series, which seems crazy, as all but the first message would involve a switching order reference. I expected it was just for Request/response pair.

Pain in the arse as means I have to now store switching order reference and two correlation IDs, not just a simple switching order reference. Why the hell do that?

Oh well, done now.

For those who aren’t aware, Microsoft have decided to bake essentially an infostealer into base Windows OS and enable by default.

From the Microsoft FAQ: “Note that Recall does not perform content moderation. It will not hide information such as passwords or financial account numbers."

Info is stored locally - but rather than something like Redline stealing your local browser password vault, now they can just steal the last 3 months of everything you’ve typed and viewed in one database.
