A couple of weeks ago I was asked if I could repair a vintage cotton bedspread.
1 circular motif was badly damaged and 2 others have threads snapped.
It's worked in 2ply cotton on a 1mm hook.
I agreed to working on it step by step so that either the owner or I could back out if we didn't think it was working. (I was very nervous about doing it)
I started by working out the pattern in craft cotton then making an actual size replacement.
