I CAN say that a diagnosis of autism as someone without massive major support needs, would definitely have had AT LEAST qs many negative effects as positive ones.

I just had someone boost an incredibly ableist meme onto my timeline. Borderline hate level in my autistic and physically disabled opinion.
The server is general purpose and ableism isn't listed as against the rules.
Ive successfully gotten Twitter to remove similar memes that were less disgusting.

I'm sorry this happened. It isn't against the rules of your instance, but there are many instances, including this one, that don't allow ableism. Mastodon has a feature for transferring your account to another instance, if that's something you'd like to do. You can also list the name of the ableist account under the FediBlock hashtag with the reason they should be blocked, so everyone knows to block them.
