‘Lemmygrad’s resident expert on fascism’ — GrainEater, 2024

The political desperadoes and ignoramuses, who say they would “Rather be Dead than Red”, should be told that no one will stop them from committing suicide, but they have no right to provoke a third world war.’ — Morris Kominsky, 1970

Hamas condemns Zionism’s régime, U.S. for Rafah massacre (www.workers.org)

The massacres of the occupation continue in Rafah, Jabalia, and Gaza, the latest being the burning of tents around the UNRWA [United Nations Relief and Works Agency] headquarters, where U.S. bombs and missiles of hatred and terrorism targeted thousands of our people, most of whom were children, women, patients, and elderly,...

Assaulting neofascists is merely a short‐term strategy, so I personally feel neutral about it, but defending a neofascist’s right to be tolerated is a pathetic waste of time. Our class’s conflict with neofascists is the Somebody getting on his knees and begging my people to leave them alone isn’t going to fix anything. One may as well beg unionizers to stop striking against their employers.

If you attack anyone, even a nazi, by throwing the first punch, you are worse than them.

This is a sure indication that the author knows nothing about either Fascism or how the status quo maintains itself.

It pisses me off how the only time that the capitalist media pretend to care about Jewish people is when an apartheid state is in crisis, then they go back to just not caring about them. It’s like corporations during Pride Month.

Neofascism. Many anticommunists seriously think that there is nothing capitalist about neofascism.

Texas GOP tries to argue that the Rio Grande is simultaneously nothing and also super important (apnews.com)

In a hearing before the 5th Circuit court of appeals, lawyers on behalf of Texas tried to argue both that the giant buoys the state has deployed in the Rio Grande are necessary to ward off an “invasion” of immigrants, and that the Rio Grande is more of a creek than a river—because if it is “navigable” then the federal...

Imprisoned workers sue to abolish neoslavery in Alabama’s prisons (www.workers.org)

“We chose to file this case on May 1, in solidarity with workers around the world, because ending forced prison labor in ADOC isn’t just about stopping the state’s extractive profiteering from the labor of Black people — both inside and outside of prisons. It’s also about eliminating the control that forced prison...

Most of the earth supports a Palestinian state (www.workers.org)

Only nine countries — led by the U.S. and [Zionism’s neocolony] — voted against full membership for Palestine, with 25 countries abstaining. Only two Latin American countries and none of the African members voted no or abstained. The 143 countries that backed Palestine contain the vast majority of the world’s people and...

Workers World spoke with encampment participant Nada Anusi, one of the students arrested May 10, who said: “On Friday morning, at about 5:30 am, we were woken from our sleep by the police with only two minutes left to gather our things and leave. While we anticipated a raid, especially in the early morning when community...

CEO of Palantir: “If we lose the intellectual debate, you will not be able to deploy any army in the West, ever.” (www.workers.org)

*New York Times*’s awful reporting on Brazil predictably used by GOP to attack democracy there (fair.org)

It may be news to the Republicans who cited the Times in their report on “censorship,” but Brazil’s legal system has all kinds of significant differences from that of the US. It may not be standard practice in Brazil for an investigation judge to rule on the results of his own investigation, but the Times didn’t think it...
