I know it is a bit unusual but I own a #GrandSeiko, a #Citizen and a #Casio watch yet I don’t have any #Seiko. I am going to fix that soon as I am missing a field watch in my #watches collection. Hint: I went very cheap as I intend for it to be my beater 😁. #watchesofmastodon
It just arrived. Behold my newest watch and the only #Seiko in my collection: the infamous SNK809 😊. 7S26 automatic movement with no manual rewind and no hacking (but you can kind of hack, if you know you know). One of the worst OEM straps I have ever seen. Day-date complication with a huge transition delay. Hardlex so not a sapphire crystal. But 37mm with exhibition case back and likely the cheapest automatic you can get. It gets the job done. #watches#watchesofmastodon

I've been working on this special #Seiko and it's up and running great, I even jeweled the barrel arbor to make it extra special. Now, I'm wearing it to get real-world testing to see how well/accurately it runs!

Damn #Knot. The prospect of a very nice #watch fully made in Japan with a #Seiko movement and great finish for an alright price is indeed very tempting. I may or may not have bought a watch from them 😂 #JapanTrip
