On Friday I went to see the Red Arrows land at Blackpool Airport. I was absolutely delighted to see them & pleased with the shots I got with my new camera as it was the third day out with it. I was shooting directly in the sun that's why they are back-lit.
Our house in Essex is directly under the flight path used by fixed wing aircraft of the RAF to line up on Buckingham Palace for official flypasts marking various state occasions. Today was the 'official' birthday of King Charles III including a recreation of the flypast which was cancelled on coronation day because of poor weather.
