@joel I agree Newpipe can be a hassle. According to the link below the maintainers have trouble updating and rewriting the code due to lack of resources (unfortunately a common problem in FLOSS development). Having said that I'm currently using the recently released 27.0 by enabling beta releases in F-Droid and it works fine for me.
@joel@dm i only use newpipe on my phone. It's frustrating sometimes when it breaks, but I have to remember it's a small team fighting Google's antics and that maybe I don't need to be on YouTube at that moment anyways.
Vorschlag: #newpipe, #libretube, #freetube bzw. im Browser #piped oder #invidious nutzen, um YouTube zu schauen. In den Apps gibt es auch tolle Einstellmöglichkeiten. Viel Spaß beim Entdecken.
I think #Nebula should offer to do a tiny profit split with #NewPipe, if they implement support for Nebula.
Most creators I follow post on YT, so I most only opened NP. I want to support people breaking away from the evil giants monopoly, but it was just so seldom that there was anything new for me in the Nebula app that I mostly didn't open it. So I didn't renew my subscription. If I'd been able to get all videos in one place, I'd renew. And NP devs need money too.
Si vous utilisez Newpipe, pensez que vous pouvez copier un lien YouTube (par exemple depuis un toot) et le coller dans la zone de recherche de Newpipe. Vous avez alors accès à la vidéo directement dans Newpipe, sans passer par YouTube.

Yes, finally a new version of #NewPipe is out, which fixes both that constant error message on every single video and comments not loading! It even adds support for comment replies.
@alberand Hey, I love that I was able to introduce you to this amazing application! You can subscribe to channels, set the list of new videos from your subscriptions as the default startup page, change playback speed, make playlists, etc. Have fun! Also check out Tubular, based on NewPipe, when it gets updated based on this latest version :)

So, #Youtube changed something (again) on their part and now #Invidious – a front-end for Youtube without tracking and advertising – (again) cannot play their videos.
Error message: “The video returned by YouTube isn't the requested one. (Android client) (VideoNotAvailableException)”
Très chouette l'App #Tubular sur la TV Android pour regarder YouTube sans pubs ni placement de produits. C'est un fork de #Newpipe mais qui intègre #sponsorblock en plus.
Petit bémol, la navigation avec la télécommande sur TV pourrait être un améliorée par contre, mais ca fait le job.
Je viens de tester, l'application est très bien pour la navigation sur tv.
Juste un truc qui est dommage pour des gens comme moi qui n'ont pas de compte google, on ne peut pas s'abonner a des chaines sans compte YouTube contrairement a newpipe ou tubular.
