Hell yeah, #KMK running on my split keyboard. This is way more fun to customize than ZMK, because I can simply code my own stuff instead of being limited to what the devs already prepared.

@tagesschau #Pisa ist nicht das "Debakel deutscher Schüler:innen" es ist das Debakel der #KMK und der Bundesländer, die #Bildungspolitik allenfalls noch unter dem Aspekt der Mangelverwaltung betreiben.
Für fehlende Lehrkräfte, ständigen Unterrichtsausfall, marode Gebäude, überholte Lehrmethoden, veraltete Lernmittel und die verschlafene Digitalisierung sind nicht die Schüler:innen verantwortlich. Es ist allein ihr Verdienst, dass sie unter diesen Rahmenbedingungen überhaupt noch etwas lernen.
OK I need help with my #QMK Hand wired Pi Pico #Keyboard .
I have all of the keys / layers working fine but I just cannot seem to get my oled displaying any layer status or caps lock etc. I've been reading the docs but getting no where just a blank display.
I have already connected onto GP0 and GP1 for the i2c bus and it worked with my previous #KMK setup.
Does anyone have a working copy of their configs / setup of using an oled with QMK on a Raspberry Pi Pico ??
Feeling pretty impressed with myself right now. I've managed to convert my hand wired Pico powered keyboard from #KMK to #QMK . Well it has the main layer working and now I've to implement my other layer and get my oled working again for status information. I know it's not much but it's made me smile and also I can get into the BIOS on my ThinkPad with QMK whereas on KMK it was a know issue that you couldn't. So all in all I'm ecstatic ! 😉
Discovered today that my #kmk powered pi pico TKL doesn't work with #FreeBSD it's detected but the pico just boot loops. It's fine on #Linux so I've ordered another pico and I'm going to see how #qmk runs on FreeBSD. If it works I'll swap out kmk in favour of qmk on my hand wired keyboard.
Tried the #GhostBSD live image on my ThinkPad P14s gen 1 with Ryzen 4750u and surprisingly it picked most things up even the GPU. What didn't work but was listed in dmesg were my Focusrite 6i6 audio interface and my external keyboard built using a pico and kmk and it works fine under #Linux .

Updated my hand wired TKL pico powered keyboard with the latest #CircuitPython and #KMK . Only had one wee hiccup where somehow I'd managed to copy KMKKeyboard.py empty. 😂

#mechanicalkeyboard builders I'm currently using a pico on my handwired TKL board with an ssd3306 oled display. It's running on #KMK but it doesn't like allowing me into my BIOS like a manufactured board. It's a known issue with KMK and #ThinkPads .
If I made up another pico and installed #QMK will this work without issue allowing me to enter the BIOS ????
