So when I was looking for tokens I found a lot of options, many of them free. What i didn’t find though was stuff that had that OSR kind of charm of reusing old public domain sources, which I think might fit beautifully with, e.g. Dyson’s style of maps.
So I went and spent a few hours with Wikimedia Commons and TokenTool, making a small collection of tokens sourced from public domain illustrations.
I also found a few new artists that I should look more into, so even if I never get around actually using many of them I have at least that. I think I need to expand this thing though. It still is missing a lot of the monsters and NPCs I think I might need for my game.
Interesting. #Factorio or #Satisfactory type games do seem to have some popularity. And Paradox sure caters to more concentrated and contained audiences with what they publish.
Okay, learned something new tonight about #Falkon - I cannot get #Foundry to load in Falkon. I play a weekly #Pathfinder game and, nope, cannot log into the game in Falkon. Got some errors and it just wouldn't load. So, I had to use a different browser to join the game. Which stinks.
It makes it harder to use as my sole browser when certain things I use regularly do not work.
Then again for day to day stuff - it's still fine.
For the time being this will have to serve as the foundry logo. It features the three capital letters, LTR, usually associated with the "LettError" brand. Taken from Principia, the brutalist triangular serifs state this foundry is not likely to make any compromises. Keen observers may recognise the main illustrative element at the bottom as the contour of a fish. All encapsulated in a non-elliptical, yet fetching oval. #foundry#logo
Gibt es in #Foundry einen standardisierten Import für Monster/NSCs?
Ich würde die Monster aus SRD 5.1 de gerne auch in ein Format konvertieren, das Foundry importieren kann, allerdings nutze ich Foundry selbst nicht. In der Suche finde ich X Addons, kann aber nicht bewerten, welches was taugt bzw. weiß ich nicht, welches von #pnpde-#DnD-Leuten benutzt wird. Hilfe? 😎
S'il y a des gens qui connaissent un minimum la mécanique d'un système de JdR, voire des softs de VTT (Virtual Table Top) et qui ont de bonnes connaissances en JavaScript, en CSS et HTML, l'ami @pablopernot et moi serions ravis de recevoir de l'aide sur l'intégration sur Foundry du système de mon JdR éco-guerrier (en Creative Commons).
Le système est sur Gitlab, ce qui permet de faciliter le travail en équipe...
J'ai la chance immense d'être aidé dans Carbon Squad, mon projet un peu dingue de JDR en Creative Commons (aka que vous pouvez partager sans que je vous gronde), par des gens fabuleux, généreux et talentueux.
Après les conseils technos de l'ami @ploum , c'est l'ami @pablopernot qui se tape l'intégration de mon jeu sur Foundry, un boulot de dingue, pour que vous puissiez aussi y jouer en ligne quand il sortira ! Merci de ta générosité, camarade ❤️
bin den ganzen tag am grübeln ob wir mal einen reinen arena kampf abend machen sollen in #foundryvtt wo die spieler:innen geschlossen gegen gegner kämpft die ich reinwerfe.... zwecks userinterface/spielfluss training.... aktuell hakt es nämlich noch ziemlich :( denke an ne schöne karte mit deckungs möglichkeiten usw...
hat iwer erfahrung mit sowas? oder ideen für die #arena?^^
