The governing body of one of the #UniversityOfAlberta's largest #faculties voted overwhelmingly Thursday against president Bill Flanagan's leadership after his handling of a pro #Palestinian #StudentProtest #encampment earlier this month.

The vote of #NonConfidence in Flanagan by the #ArtsFaculty council passed 56–7, with seven abstentions.

Fediverse AU is exclusively for #research organisations and #university schools, centres and #faculties in the Australasian region - as most Mastodon instances don't allow these sorts of corporate accounts.
