I love the shape and symmetry of this central block of windows on Riverside House on Clyde Street. This seven-storey office building was designed by Eric A. Sutherland in a Free style and was constructed in 1907.

The statue of Dolores Ibarruri (born 1895 died 1989) on Clyde Street in Glasgow. Also know as La Pasionaria, she was a hero of the Spanish Civil war. The statue commemorates the 2,100 British members of the International Bridage who joined the struggle against fascism in the late 1930s. Ibarruri is the only non-British woman to be honoured with a statue in Glasgow.
Former police barracks on Clyde Street in Glasgow. Built in a neo-classical style in 1894, it was bought by the Salvation Army in 1934 to create a women's hostel. It later served as a men's hostel before finally becoming student accommodation in the 2010s.
