Dans un article sur l', je tombe sur une traduction de breadboard par « plaquette d'essai sans soudure ». Exact mais peut-être un peu long ?

@bortzmeyer je dis plaque a essais, ou protoboard mais c'est encore anglais.

Hmm, I've used for many years. A smaller Asia/Pacific parts shop w a boutique feel. Small circuits, parts, modules, some used stuff, but fun all around.

They've been very good, and tho' a bit low on documentation I can usually get everything I acquire there working, tho' sometimes with a bit of effort.

A recent order isn't moving at all. Makes me worry they might be at the end of their run? Will try a query to see. Fingers crossed.

Glad to say that reaching out to the #maker supply folks at #Electrodragon received a prompt response.

My order was apparently dispatched already, just the admin work was a bit slow. Hope they're continuing to be the great source they've been for parts and gizmos for several years.

Very happy to see my old arduino parts work with my now 'old' pi pico (v1) means I can at least store actual real-time stamps 💪

Rewriting the GUI in + :)

And finally there's a graph with the biosignals! 🥳

Rust is slower to write than what I'm used to with , but hopefully the result will be more useful. 🦾

Does anyone know of an Arduino-compatible board with two slave-capable I2C ports? Ideally 5V but I can make 3.3V work.
I'm trying to emulate two display controllers, sniff the output, and combine it on a single graphics VFD.

Hmm, no left, I need this one… At least I documented the breadboard in

Let's make quick connectors to keep the wires in order. Adhesive tape to the rescue. 😄

Close-up of the Arduino clone, with wires being tied together in line with transparent adhesive tape.

@diyelectromusic, since you're into embedded tech and microcontrollers, you may appreciate this one.

It's a Real-time Operating System kernel I wrote in C and Assembly for AVR chips. My intent was to learn about how operating systems interface with hardware.

I'd like to rewrite it with #Rust and finish the task scheduler.

@thompsondt Oh good for you! I've always wondered about doing something like that but not sure I'll ever get round to it :)

The ESP32 seems to build-in FreeRTOS and that provides the multicore/multitasking capabilities at the moment, but that always seemed a bit OTT to me.

I've never experimented with it on AVR.

And "just because" is always the best reasons IMO!

@thompsondt You mean there is a discipline for using git!? That magic knowledge continues to elude me...
