I uploaded a second entry to #TweetTweetJam 9!
Wrote a maze generator and player controller which is entirely contained in 500 characters of code. I will prove this by putting the pico8 source in my next toot.
Ahead of #TweetTweetJam 9 starting tomorrow, I was sad to see that Twitter finally killed off ALL moments, inc. my "PICO-8 Tweet Games" one. This continued enshittification has spurred me to resume my #TweetCart preservation efforts, via my @Pico8TweetCarts account 💾
Well, that's it for TweetTweetJam 8! 57 tiny games made in 500 characters of code or less. It blows my mind what some of you have created. Thanks to all who participated, and we'll see you next year!
Join Sir Bounce-a-lot in this (500 Char) #Pico8 platformer to find the Holy Grail, through a treacherous dungeon filled with moving bricks +brimstone! 🔥
"100 upx" is my tough #pico8 game in 486 characters for #TweetTweetJam. I saved a chunk of characters after taking a close enough is good enough approach to #gamedev.
My TweetTweetJam 8 entry! A game in 500 characters of code. Hop over the bars, and shoot for a high score!

Finished writing my catmaze game, inspired by #TweetTweetJam. Now I just need to reduce the number of characters... I should be able to get clever with the maze gen and bring the lines of code down.
Working on a PICO-8 game inspired by #TweetTweetJam (#TootTootJam?) where you try to fit your whole game into 560 characters. First, get a minimal game that works and is hopefully fun...
If you haven't used PICO-8 or one of the other fantasy consoles, they're a lot of fun. You can very quickly get pixels on your screen and bleeps through your speakers.
TweetTweetJam's running from May 8-14 this year, this time on Mastodon! There will likely be a few changes to the rules, due to Mastodon's different character limit. Get your #TweetTweetJam hashtags ready to go!
