#TechnicallyWorking that VO setting also fixes an issue with Safari or web views in apps where aria-describedby would move the rotor back to a certain setting. this check box that was mentioned fixes this as well.
#TechnicallyWorking: Opening Safe files has worked the same way since like Tiger. They just need to change that at some point, and I bet they just don't think about it until enough users mention it.
#TechnicallyWorking: Apple changed kernel extensions a few versions ago where there could not be system level kernel extensions. I don't remember the new name for them, but they are seperate from the system level extensions.
#TechnicallyWorking Developer mode on iPhone requires a restart now as well. It is kind of ridiculous! You have to even hook up to Xcode for the option to even be visible in the settings app under privacy.
