@bagder I've actually had slashdot in my feed reader (whichever one I'm currently using) all along. While it's only tech-related news, I've always appreciated that they have human curated synopses.
Is this an anomalous one-off, or just the beginning? San Franciscans have had enough with Waymo.

San Francisco Mob Lights Driverless Waymo Car on Fire
"A person jumped on the hood of a Waymo driverless taxi and smashed its windshield..." reports the Verge, "generating applause before a crowd formed around the car and covered it in spray paint, breaking its windows, and ultimately set it on fire."
I've been reading Slashdot again for the first time in over a decade.
Got to say, disappointed in the subculture there.
A lot of aging tech bros arrested at the bro level of emotional development. Worse, all they have to say are the same old sophomoric opinions you can guess, and the same dumb jokes. Worst of all, they are very impressed with themselves and they don't realize how lame they come across.
Sadly, they often don't even know what they are talking about, their point of pride.
I guess I am one of them. I've recently mostly quit Reddit and went back to Slashdot after eons.
Same website as 20 years ago. Same sophomoric observations, same dumb jokes. Know-it-alls who don't know what they are talking about being very confident regardless.
