I've just shared a new Shortcut over on my own Shortcuts Archive.
It's a simple one this time, but one I use an awful lot to quickly test out new Shortcuts actions or whip up a prototype. It's called Shortcuts Playground.
Small automation improvement in iOS 17.2: Shortcuts run as homescreen icons now launch instantly, instead of taking a second or two. Sounds like a small deal, but responsiveness is important 👍
iOS 17.1 brings some brand new Shortcuts bugs, including a bug with legibility blur in the set wallpaper action, and earlier I had to reboot as a Shortcut froze in the background making it impossible to run any other shortcuts.
Not to mention the usual unhelpful sporadic error messages.
And performance of the app itself is still dreadful. Windows 95 was more stable.
