On Repentance and Repair
Making Amends in an Unapologetic World
A crucial new lens on repentance, atonement, forgiveness, and repair from harm—from personal transgressions to our culture’s most painful and unresolved issues.
@LeaBug They could do the hard work of repentance. It starts with the phrase, “I was wrong.” It works out in changed actions over time. But they won’t, because they are abusers. #Evangelicals#Terrorism#Repentance
Thought for the day:
We have seen more repentance in America for the sins of our fathers from people in the secular realm than in the evangelical/religious. This makes it so shameful to me that decent evangelicals like Russell Moore will still decry secularization as the danger, rather than rebuke the unrepentant sin of Christians. It’s easier to blame change rather than to repent, that is, to change. 🕊️ #Repentance#Genocide#UnitedStates
