You might recall my interactive #opticalillusion collection that I've worked on this year. I got stuck on one, then focused on other projects, but I finally made something new and different for it this week. I experimented with a new system I call Dazzle, Tilt, Zigzag, in which I have found several different illusions. They're not new effects, but the compositions are, and the system is fun to play around with. See the alt texts for more details.

Yesterday I made an interpretation of Yann Le Gall's awesome #OpArt waveform animation: https://genart.social/@ylegall/110657251187118294. I had suggested it as the subject of a #CreativeCoding challenge for @sableraph's stream, where a few of our group and I described it to him and he tried to recreate it. It was a lot of fun, and I had to make my own version since I find it to be such a cool design. Since Yann had the minimal aesthetic nailed, I went interactive and busy.
More for #InternationalZebraDay: Victor Vasarely (Hungarian, 1906-1997), #Zebras, 1937 and 1938 versions. Vasarely was a pioneer of modern #OpArt (this is considered one of the very first works of the genre) and he returned to the zebra motif often throughout his career.
