Woo, pre-reg'd for the MH3 prerelease weekend. Only doing two this time, since it's a bit on the pricy side, but that'll give me a bit more time in the evening to chill afterwards which is nice.
Dandan's so fun. Great for jamming between rounds since only one person needs a deck. Been bringing my Dandan deck to draft nights for about a year+ and it's always a hit when I bring it out.
@ethanOS most anywhere you look will have decent prices on recent precons. If you buy the set, $40 per deck is pretty typical. If you buy single decks, the prices will vary some depending on the value of the cards inside. My preferred site is Game Nerdz, but most places should be similar. Avoid Amazon
Super fun draft night tonight! We had a birthday party with cake, and got to draft Commander Baldur’s Gate. I ended up in a pretty nice BG Kagha value pile, and almost maneuvered to a win in my pod, but lost at the last second.
Was fun seeing all the Baldur’s Gate 3 characters on magic cards after having played that game too! #MagicTheGathering
Had some fun this afternoon brewing up a funky Devoid list. We're running Morophon naming Eldrazi as the commander, and the gimmick is that we only have colourless lands and everything is Devoid!
There's not much in the way of Annihilator - we're actually trying to combo off with Displacer instead and then sink either infinite ETBs or mana into some of the OGW Eldrazi to give us a win.
