Just finished watching #Katla and I thought it was beautiful and incredible, and easily the best thing I've seen from #Netflix , even though I don't see many people talking about it (and don't recall much talk about it when it came out in 2021). And because it's a one-off limited series Netflix can't cancel it!
I finished up the series on Netfilix "Katla". What happens when people start reappearing who have been missing? Or how about a double of yourself? I really enjoyed this and definitely worth the watch! #katla#horror
Ich habe #Katla (Netflix) zuende geschaut und kann es empfehlen. Nicht zu sehr auf die Logik schauen, die Abgründe, in die die Protagonisten schauen, sind gut erzählt.
Lea will jump timeline up to 7 times, one per chapter, each time living a different live, getting to know first-hand different angles about the same story
Katla, the vulcano, spits out people that have disappeared years before. Some of them were even dead. Are they the same people?
Which one is your favourite in the 2nd and dystopic semi-final of #EuropeanSeries?
🇩🇪 1899
vs
🇮🇸 Katla
1899: a story of European migrants on a boat to the US. That's why there's so many languages and people in the main cast (20 characters!) The screenwriters (Jantje Friese, Baran bo Odar) also wrote "Dark"
Katla is also quite dark. People who reappear are covered in ash. They confront their loved ones, but also other versions of themselves.
