Worked some more on my new #Mordheim#rescuehammer kids. Lots of love for this here sorcerer but he's a bit of a problem given his previous owner didn't varnish him before priming. Chipping might occur.
Anyway once I've gone and done the skin I'll show you some sexy chaos leg action
#hobbystreak 1489, sick goblin daughter drained any brain power I had. Finished the base granola and started coloring, but had to stop because I kept falling asleep.
Having finished the Cauldron of Blood it's time for something a little less intricate, as a treat! The Endless Spells in AoS are some of the most fun models to paint, and since they're formed of magic who cares if you pick out all the details? But in this case... a blood snake is made of blood, so of course it's (three different shades of) blood red!
I decided to push forward on the Blood Cauldron, and I have now reached a point where I'm happy with it. There's always more things that COULD be done, but I'm calling it here before becoming lost in the weeds.
I'm at that weird stage with a model where I need to decide if "enough is enough" or go all in and keep at it forever.
What do you all think? Should I keep finding more and more details? Also, is there anything glaring?
#hobbystreak 1480, big work on the robe, got some on point consultation from local color expert, because, as I said, I don't see difference between blues and purples.
Made the first #BloodBowl 7s league in my area a definitive fact, 21/5 kickoff evening! Haven't got a name yet but one came up with a gem.
Also added the last eye white to my elves, and applied ochre dry pigment to them, to varying degrees of success, and added lighter orange to the loin cloths. That's un- #blanchening I guess.
Did a few arboreal things, such as making sure the leaves don't fall off, getting a better face on there and priming. Also basecoated the Wheelie Bin of Doom to go with my #CountBBFace team as a vargheist. Poll below about appearance.
All the eyes of my #Fedipaint elves have now been pre-whitened.
