#discord New Username Rollout has been bumped up to at least June 2016, so if you created your account before that and have a Nitro subscription, try restarting your app.
The only reason I ever kept my Nitro Classic sub on #Discord was because people kept tag-sniping me. I think the username change is very flawed, but the one good thing is now I can finally cancel this stupid subscription to stop people from impersonating me.
It's only started to rolling out to 2015 users with nitro. Rollout has some stages and this stage is last one. This stage includes all users with some parts: 2015 nitro users -> 2015 users -> 2016 nitro users -> 2016 users
#discord is developing new feature called "Server Emote Packs".
This feature will allow everyone to claim emotes from discoverable servers, even without joining them. Experiment: 2023-05_inventory_guild_packs

There are two username rollout waves today. The first wave is roughly at 1:30 PM (although yesterday it was delayed 3 hours due to some P0 bugs that needed to be fixed first), with the second wave following 4 and a half hours later. The rollout advances by 4 months for Nitro users and 1 month for regular users with each wave.
#discord pushed Polls to 181.0 version of iOS app 4 days ago. They pushed it as a hackweek project and the feature has gone with the 182.0 version. They work a lot like any poll feature on any app like Mastodon. Probably it will turn into an experiment soon.

Server Experiment: Server Products (2023-04_server_products)
Create New Product button works now! You have to add a Name, Description and Price (banner isn't displayed yet) to create a product. Also prices go from $2.99 to $199.99. You will be able to save products as draft, edit them, copy link for sharing, downloading the content for testing and delete them!
Avatar decoration collectibles are still in the works! #discord will allow us to collect decorations during various events, allowing us to use them in the future. Also, there will be new avatar decorations for summer that can disappear on 2023/07/28. As far as we know, this is only for nitro members
Also #discord is having a few problems with their API, so if your messages is taking a long time to send, that is the reason. It is also worth noting that you should go outside and touch some grass :)

We feel that there are often times that longer, more in-depth conversations are wanted/needed and Discord is a great place to have those conversations.
