J'ai regardé pour la première fois la trilogie des derniers Star Wars en entier, je regrette de l'avoir fait. Il y a de bonnes idées mais tout est noyé dans un scénario grotesque. Il aurait mieux valu éviter le retour des anciens même pour satisfaire les anciens fans et se concentrer sur l'intrigue. Disney a passé le show à la machine à gnan-gnan. Quel massacre. Espérons que Dave Filoni fera mieux avec la trilogie du Mandalorien...
#TheCloneWars was in large part #DaveFiloni’s writing, but under #GeorgeLucas, before #Disney. At 130 episodes, the amount of content is well more than all the films put together. #Ahsoka was arguably the main character in that series, introduced in the pilot and central in the finale. While the execution in this live-action series may be questioned, Ahsoka’s role as a major character in the saga cannot.
The best #StarWars#novels I've read are by #JamesLuceno, particularly #DarthPlagueis, which should be at the top of any fan's reading list, detailing decades of galactic history leading up to #TPM, from about 65 BBY.
Note that Plagueis is not canon. Some of Luceno's later novels are, including #Tarkin and #Catalyst. Catalyst in particular is notable for being hundreds of pages of #Krennic manipulating pacifist #GalenErso into his work on the #DeathStar.
Then there's #TimothyZahn's work on Grand Admiral #Thrawn. #HeirToTheEmpire is a candidate for one of the worst novels I've ever read. From 1991, it's written at an eighth-grade reading level, full of mechanical errors and hackneyed rehashes of the OT. I could not bring myself to read the rest of the trilogy.
For better or worse, this is rumored to be the direction #DaveFiloni has chosen for Thrawn in #Ahsoka. However, this novel is not canon and conflicts with Zahn's later work.
