@jasonnab What's the maximum number of years the registrar will let you renew it for, and how much money have you got to spend right now?

I figure one or the other of those two will be your limiting factor.

@kagan Currently looks like I can renew for up to 9 (more?) years, and it's not necessarily a cost issue for me but... I do know that registrars keep increasing pricing every year.

It's sort of like... I don't think I'll ever get rid of my domain but I feel... is the internet really going to continue existing in 9 more years, as it stands? With all that's going on in the world...

@jasonnab Ah, I see. I can't say for sure, but I feel like... 9 years? Yeah, it'll make it that long. At that point, re-evaluate whether another 9 seems likely or not.

I can see your worry, but I don't think things are collapsing quite that fast.
