Trusting #Twitter with any important corporate, organizational, emergency or other public service functions is like trusting Donald Trump to pay his bills. Only far worse.
@lauren I agree with this but it’s hilarious how people keep saying this only now, after the fact. For years nobody told these corporations, companies NOT to do this.
@lispi314@erv I get most of my news from RSS and keep an Inoreader window open most of the time. That said, RSS is really a nonstarter for most nontechies, and the only reason it's really still around is because Wordpress generates RSS feeds by default. Many site owners probably don't even know they have them.
