@joesteel Great list. I really hope they solve the context problem, but the fact that it’s been a decade since Handoff was introduced and you still can’t transfer what you’re listening to between devices, I’m not hopeful.

@tvaziri @joesteel My theory is that Apple’s other concerns, namely privacy and legal/licensing, are the root of the problem.

And none of those things get better with an AI assistant. In fact, they probably get worse.

@chockenberry @tvaziri Which is weird because Apple Music will show Recently Played on all devices, you just can’t resume. With the direction the Music app is going though they’ll probably launch a unified playback queue as a single-serving website so it won’t work with assistants or with the app.
