Holy shit, I submitted my wishlist for #GenCon the instant the button became available and I'm #12329 for processing. I don't know if that's good or bad. I'd hate to see what it would be if I hesitated.
@frequentbeef I didn't get everything but I'm fine with that. Gives me more time to wander or just park my ass in open gaming. Considering running some Tribes in the Dark.
@rivetgeek you should, submit them when you can - but we are very full for RPGs during the day, particularly Thursday & Friday. Late time slots will be easier to accommodate.
@frequentbeef Not sure if it's a good idea or not to offer it, but I would've likely paid some amount for early-bird event submission. Probably not feasible given the scale.
@rivetgeek Selling early access to event registration would likely generate far more anger and frustration broadly than appreciation from those who could afford it.
It’s a constant request for VIGs, for example.
“Pay more for better” isn’t the approach we want to take everywhere.
@frequentbeef I could see that. I got an event for every day at least, and I'll check the others occasionally in case tickets get returned as well as have a handful of generic tickets. It's all good.
It's capricious and cruel every year. I was under 5000 for the first time in probably a decade and my list is still churning. I'm scairt I'm not going to have anything to do at the con.
