The place my daughter has been working at for over 2 years has been slowly reducing her hours to 8 a week. They even tried to split that into two days at 4 hours each.
She's never liked the job. She's always had a hard time working and dealing with the public but she's pushed herself to keep going because she doesn't like being a "quitter".
I told her to just quit. It's not worth her time and she'll be starting community college twice a week anyway this summer.
