Any person who claims that the IHRA definition of antisemitism forbids all criticism of Israel is lying to you. The examples from the definition are very specific and do not sweep very broadly. If you don’t believe me, go and read them for yourself.

“Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.”

Saying something like Israel is currently racist in this or that respect would not qualify. Saying that Israel and Zionism are inherently racist no matter what, on the other hand, essentially calls for the unconditional destruction of Israel, and so would qualify, because calls to Destroy Israel are antisemitic.

“Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.”

Any other comparison is fair game, like if someone said Netanyahu is just as evil as Assad, or something. The nazi comparison is used to create a universally understood moral cause of action to, again, Destroy Israel.
