@LALegault War uses oil. Exact figures are “national security” data, so the best we can do is estimate - and no matter how you slice it, 20+ years of war … greenhouse gases more than doubling over the past 30 years …
The US and the Middle East are pretty bigly capitalized in oil. It’s not hard to imagine profit motives for more than just weapons manufacturers …
@LALegault I wonder what exactly the West gets out of this arrangement because it's not stability or anything, is it?
Oh sure the weapons manufacturers and the Evangelicals are happy but what about everyone else, people who matter?
