The IDF denied that any coordination had taken place, repeating its assertion that its forces were not in the area.
A WaPo investigation found that Israeli armored vehicles were present in the area that afternoon... that the gunfire audible as Hind & her cousin Layan begged for help & the extensive damage caused to the ambulance were consistent with Israeli weapons. The analysis is based on satellite imagery, contemporaneous dispatcher recordings, photos & videos of the aftermath, interviews with 13 dispatchers, family members & rescue workers, & more than a dozen military, satellite, munitions & audio experts who reviewed the evidence, as well as the IDF’s own statements.

But the head of COGAT - an arm of the Israeli Defense Ministry that coordinates safe passage for medical vehicles with the IDF, said they "“coordinated everything … including the ambulance that wanted to go and find Hind.”
And WaPo proved through satellite imagery and expert military testimony that IDF forces were in the area, and that both the gunfire and the tank strike were Israeli weapons.
Bald faced lying - about killing a scared 6 year old girl who had called for help, and the medics who went to help her with Israeli approval. No Hamas anywhere.
