Sci-Hub has the best user interface of all times: Put the DOI into the box and get the PDF, if it is available. Done.

I am a member of a number of libraries and have to first search if this journal is at any of the libraries. Then I have to fire up the VPN, and usually log in a few times before the right cookie is set. And only if the moon phase is right will I be offered a link I can follow, often only a per-chapter link. Sigh.

@senficon Kann ich mich jetzt eigentlich beschweren, dass dadurch mein Paper über die Seite nicht mehr verfügbar wäre?

Dass also die Sichtbarkeit meiner Forschungsarbeit beschädigt würde?

Meine Veröffentlichung darf da nämlich sein (dank open access).

@senficon und verstehe ich es richtig, dass die da eine Liste illegaler Streaming-Portale führen, die alle mit alternativem DNS-Anbieter nutzen könnten, um aktuell funktionierendes Streaming zu finden?

Ist das dann nicht eigentlich irgendwie illegal (so wie Torrentseiten)?
