@kev sorry Kev. Keeping fish is a never-ending learning curve with plenty of sucky hindsight moments along the way for sure, but dont beat yourself up too much. Even if you'd weighed the lid down a month ago, at his size who knows what he'd have done to still attempt escape! I've had fish literally knock themselves out shooting full speed at the lid before (ours is a sliding glass thing).
