It's such an important point that actually, some of us can't afford to get sick. I've tried to explain this to a few people when they ask why I'm wearing a mask. Not everyone has family or anyone else around to help them if they can't take care of themselves. Not everyone can cover the costs of not working for a week, two weeks, or more. Not everyone can take the risk of just repeatedly catching an illness where the period of sickness can be indefinite.
