I never followed or used the hashtag #BikeTooter because I don't imagine people new to #Mastodon or the #fediverse would know to use it. It's pretty useless to me. I prefer regular words. They're more inclusive.

@evelyn @forteller @Iragersh @bikes @mastobikes Hi. I'm not sure if I'm still new to Mastodon, but I follow #biketooter and have found quite a bit of content as a result. (I'm not sure how biketooter is less a regular word than mastobikes, but whatever.) I'd also recommend searching or following #bikenite where some #bike riders gather once a week to share information.
