    @kentindell i'm not saying he wasn't shot, i'm talking about your characterisation of the luddites as being primarily motivated by the wish to preserve their privilege over unskilled workers as opposed to their wish to defend their livelihoods against expropriation by capitalists like horsfall and the government of the time
