@mjausson@Catawu I'm pretty sure there was a raccoon using the drinking fountain attachment in the backyard... I now have the thing shut off to prevent raccoon spit being wiped all over it, LOL.
@ai6yr@Catawu I knew a guy in San Jose who in the 90s suddenly faced water bills of several hundred dollars.
Raccoons had learned to turn on his outdoor tap to drink and "wash" their food. Unfortunately they hadn't learned to turn the tap off when they were done with it. 🦝💦💸
@ai6yr this is literally happening because an Anime from late 70s called “Rascal the Raccoon” got people importing and keeping them as pets. #invasivespecies
