Because it is. You're the first to comment on that. To me, the ladder and back of the bldg are most interesting. That it's a waffle house is incidental.

@DemocracySpot There is something so offputting about it, like the sense of scale is warped at the very top.

I would expect this for a creepy ladder heading down, not one going up.

Also, I've never seen a ladder like that before? And I am fairly urban, I see plenty of ladders on buildings and never that.

@DemocracySpot This reminds me of a time I was in a diner and everybody’s phones blared a tornado warning at the same time. Someone asked a worker if they had a basement and they helpfully said “no, but we do have an attic! Oh, wait…”
