@bryan there's a mild double-counting in the methodology.

They assume a budget of 50% for necessities, 30% for entertainment/hobbies, 20% for savings.

Then they use MIT's Living Wage Calculator for the 50%, and double that, to extrapolate to 100%.

However, MIT's Living Wage figure includes "Internet and mobile" and "Civic engagement", which both overlap with entertainment/hobbies.

I'm not sure why they didn't just use the MIT Living Wage figure directly. It feels like deliberate inflation?
