@Phreba id love for you to watch an NHL game right now 😅 it's horrible officiating. Is It true that the NBA officials are held accountable to some degree? I.e., have to face the press or can coaches call out officials when they get it wrong?
@spelled_with_a_k rick Carlisle (pacers coach) got fined 35k for talking about the bad officiating. My problem with hockey is I barely understand what constitutes a foul unless it’s an obvious crosscheck or hooking foul.
@spelled_with_a_k@Phreba they've set the threshold to "goalie gets yeeted into the stands from the crease by significant contact" and there's no going back now.
